Job summary

Chase Taylor Recruitment Ltd is working with an established business in the building products and manufacturing sector seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations, drive safety, accuracy and customer service.

You will coordinate activities, manage a team, implement process improvements, monitor KPIs and maintain 5S standards while ensuring despatch and stock control are performed on time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience working within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Good knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong understanding of stock control, picking and despatch processes.
• Experience with 5S and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Hands-on, organised and proactive approach.
• The ability to lead by example and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting the warehouse team daily.
• Planning and organising warehouse workloads.
• Maintaining high standards of picking accuracy and stock control.
• Ensuring customer orders are fulfilled and despatched on time.
• Monitoring warehouse KPIs and driving performance improvements.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Using and maintaining accurate WMS data.
• Training, coaching and developing warehouse employees.
• Supporting the introduction of new warehouse processes and technology.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
• Resolving stock issues, picking errors and non-conformances quickly.
• Promoting a positive culture of continuous improvement.
