Job summary

AIT Home Delivery UK Limited is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a section of our warehouse and ensure smooth operation to meet targets. This hands-on role supports the management team and supervises a team of operatives to achieve delivery goals.

You will assist in delivering efficient inbound goods handling, accurate stock management, and accurate order sorting for dispatch while promoting teamwork and safe manual handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which is able to fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets
• Take delivery of goods inbound, checking for damaged or missing items
• Store goods appropriately
• Sort orders for dispatch around Network
• Promote a culture of teamwork
• Where possible resolve any issues or problems which occur in the warehouse. Where appropriate elevate the issue to a more senior level
• Ensure that all lifting and maneuvering of products and materials is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures

Our warehouse team is looking for a new Warehouse Supervisor to join them.

We strive to deliver an outstanding service to our customers and your role as a Supervisor is key to this. It's a hands on role where you will be responsible for the operation of a section within the warehouse function. Supporting the management team, responsible for a group of operatives and ensuring an achievement of business targets.
