Job summary

AIT Home Delivery UK Limited is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our expanding team. You will manage a section of the warehouse, supervise operatives and help hit business targets.

This hands-on role requires practical leadership, a focus on safety and accuracy in goods inbound and dispatch, and the ability to motivate colleagues to deliver consistent, reliable service. You will work closely with the management team to optimise processes and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation to meet targets.
• Take delivery of goods inbound and check for damages or missing items.
• Store goods appropriately and prepare for dispatch.
• Sort orders for dispatch around the Network.
• Promote a culture of teamwork within the warehouse.
• Resolve issues or escalate to a senior when needed.
• Ensure lifting and handling comply with manual handling procedures.
