Job summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to support a busy warehouse and distribution operation. You will oversee daily activities, supervise staff, and drive health & safety and KPI performance.

Reporting to the Branch Dispatch Manager, you will ensure efficient order processing, develop the team, and maintain high standards of customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing teams and operational priorities.
• Knowledge of warehouse Health & Safety practices.
• IT capable with good administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse and distribution activities.
• Allocate workloads and ensure customer orders are processed efficiently.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are loaded safely and correctly.
• Support, motivate and develop warehouse employees.
• Assist with recruitment, inductions, rotas and timesheets.
• Maintain stock accuracy and assist with stock control activities.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Monitor branch performance and help achieve KPI targets.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
