Job summary

British Heart Foundation is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a store stockroom team, coordinating stock movements, donations and deliveries to support sales targets.

You will work closely with store management in a fast‑paced environment, maintaining safety and efficiency while providing excellent customer service. The role requires physical work and willingness to cover seven days including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experienced warehouse or stockroom team leader or supervisor in retail, hospitality or a customer‑facing industry.
• Desirable but not essential to have stock management experience.
• Motivated, proactive and commercially driven to lead a team.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Thrives in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment.
• Results driven, resilient and adaptable to business needs.
• Comfortable with high levels of manual stock handling.
• Store operates 7 days a week; weekend/bank holiday rota availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a warehouse team to manage stock inflow and outflow and support collections/donations.
• Collaborate with store management to achieve sales targets and store objectives.
• Ensure a safe, productive working environment and quick responses to fast-changing situations.
• Supervise hands-on stock handling and maintain accurate stock records.
• Support across a network of home stores as needed.
