Job summary

Frasers Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of Operatives and Trainee Supervisors on a rotation shift pattern (5 days out of 7, including weekends). You will coach performance, manage labour planning, and drive safety and process improvements to meet customer demand on time and in full.

The role requires strong people leadership, a resilient and flexible approach, and the ability to partner with the Warehouse Leadership team to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Ability to lead and develop teams with coaching and performance management.
• Strong change-management mindset and resilience.
• Good systems skills and familiarity with warehouse software.
• Customer-focused approach to operational management.
• Proactive problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct line management and coaching of Warehouse Operatives and Trainee Supervisors.
• Collaborate with Section Manager to monitor delivery to plan and improve shift performance.
• Drive efficiency and accuracy to fulfill customer demand on time and in full.
• Ensure high safety standards and coordinate with the Safety team on routines and audits.
• Review weekly labour plan, identify gaps, and communicate with the Section Manager.
• Provide clear action plans when targets aren’t met and support culture change initiatives.

Job description

The Role

As a Supervisor within our warehouse, you'll be responsible for leading and developing Warehouse Operatives and Trainee Supervisors, providing coaching, performance management, and support to achieve operational goals. Working closely with the Section Manager and wider Warehouse Leadership team, the position focuses on delivering key performance metrics, ensuring customer demand is met on time and in full, maintaining the highest safety standards, managing labour planning, addressing performance gaps with clear action plans, and supporting culture change initiatives to improve engagement and reduce turnover.

You will be working on a rotation shift pattern, 5 days out of 7 including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct line management and coaching of Warehouse Operatives / Trainee Supervisors including 1:1's to discuss performance vs expectation, identifying SMART goals when performance not met in any of the key functional areas within responsibility
• Working with the Section Manager for your department to monitor delivery to plan and key areas for your shift improve
• Driving performance on key metrics ensuring an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfill customer web and store demand on time and in full
• Driving the highest standards of safety on site, working with the Safety team to ensure adherence to all safety routines/procedures (e.g. Floor Safety Inspections, Hazard Spotting, Safety Gembas, Risk Assessments, Audits)
• Reviewing weekly labour plan to ensure cover is adequate, sharing with Section Manager, highlighting issues/feedback.
• Providing detail when daily/weekly targets are not met and creating plan to bridge
• Alongside the Warehouse Leadership team, you'll partner with other key stakeholders to ensure all strategic activity is on track and supported
• Supporting the successful implementation of culture change and turnover reduction
