Job summary

Frasers Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of Operations staff across a shift, driving performance and engagement. You will coach Trainee Supervisors and Operatives, plan labour needs, and partner with the Section Manager to meet customer demand on time and in full.

You will champion a strong safety culture, implement continuous improvement initiatives and work with the leadership team to embed positive cultural change and improve retention.

• Direct line management and coaching of Warehouse Operatives and Trainee Supervisors, setting SMART goals.
• Collaborate with Section Manager to monitor delivery to plan and optimise shift performance.
• Drive safe and efficient warehouse operations, ensuring on-time order fulfillment.
• Lead safety routines, inspections and risk assessments with the Safety team.
• Review weekly labour plans and address shortfalls with corrective actions.
• Communicate with stakeholders to keep strategic activity on track and supported.
• Support culture change initiatives and turnover reduction across the site.

Job description

The Role:

As a Supervisor you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Warehouse Operatives and Trainee Supervisors, driving performance, productivity, and engagement across the shift. Working closely with the Section Manager and wider Warehouse Leadership team, you'll ensure operational targets are achieved, labour is effectively planned, and customer demand is fulfilled on time and in full. You'll champion a strong safety culture, support continuous improvement initiatives, and play a key role in embedding positive cultural change to enhance employee retention and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct line management and coaching of Warehouse Operatives / Trainee Supervisors including 1:1's to discuss performance vs expectation, identifying SMART goals when performance not met in any of the key functional areas within responsibility
• Working with the Section Manager for your department to monitor delivery to plan and key areas for your shift improve
• Driving performance on key metrics ensuring an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfill customer web and store demand on time and in full
• Driving the highest standards of safety on site, working with the Safety team to ensure adherence to all safety routines/procedures (e.g. Floor Safety Inspections, Hazard Spotting, Safety Gembas, Risk Assessments, Audits)
• Reviewing weekly labour plan to ensure cover is adequate, sharing with Section Manager, highlighting issues/feedback.
• Providing detail when daily/weekly targets are not met and creating plan to bridge
• Alongside the Warehouse Leadership team, you'll partner with other key stakeholders to ensure all strategic activity is on track and supported
• Supporting the successful implementation of culture change and turnover reduction

Experience in Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain

You will be working on a rotation shift pattern, 5 days out of 7 including weekends.
