Job summary

Frasers Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead and develop Warehouse Operatives and Trainee Supervisors, coaching performance and supporting the Section Manager to meet operational goals.

You will focus on safety, labour planning, and delivering key metrics while driving culture change and reducing turnover across the site. The role requires strong people skills and a hands-on leadership approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• High potential for people and change management.

Responsibilities

• Direct line management and coaching of Warehouse Operatives / Trainee Supervisors including 1:1s to discuss performance vs expectation.
• Work with the Section Manager to monitor delivery and improve key areas for your shift.
• Drive performance on key metrics to ensure an efficient operation fulfilling customer demand on time and in full.
• Maintain highest safety standards and coordinate with the Safety team on routines and audits.
• Review weekly labour plan for adequate cover and communicate with the Section Manager.
• Provide detail when targets are not met and create plans to bridge gaps.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Leadership and other stakeholders to keep strategic activity on track.
• Support culture change and turnover reduction initiatives.

Job Description

The Role

As a Supervisor within our warehouse, you'll be responsible for leading and developing Warehouse Operatives and Trainee Supervisors, providing coaching, performance management, and support to achieve operational goals. Working closely with the Section Manager and wider Warehouse Leadership team, the position focuses on delivering key performance metrics, ensuring customer demand is met on time and in full, maintaining the highest safety standards, managing labour planning, addressing performance gaps with clear action plans, and supporting culture change initiatives to improve engagement and reduce turnover.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct line management and coaching of Warehouse Operatives / Trainee Supervisors including 1:1's to discuss performance vs expectation, identifying SMART goals when performance not met in any of the key functional areas within responsibility
• Working with the Section Manager for your department to monitor delivery to plan and key areas for your shift improve
• Driving performance on key metrics ensuring an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfill customer web and store demand on time and in full
• Driving the highest standards of safety on site, working with the Safety team to ensure adherence to all safety routines/procedures (e.g. Floor Safety Inspections, Hazard Spotting, Safety Gembas, Risk Assessments, Audits)
• Reviewing weekly labour plan to ensure cover is adequate, sharing with Section Manager, highlighting issues/feedback.
• Providing detail when daily/weekly targets are not met and creating plan to bridge
• Alongside the Warehouse Leadership team, you'll partner with other key stakeholders to ensure all strategic activity is on track and supported
• Supporting the successful implementation of culture change and turnover reduction
