Job summary

Frasers Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of Warehouse Operatives and Trainee Supervisors, driving performance, safety and efficiency across your area. You will work with the Warehouse Leadership team to fulfil customer web and store demand on time and in full, while nurturing a high-performance, high-support culture.

You will manage performance, coach staff, review labour plans, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement culture change and turnover reduction.

Qualifications

• Experience in Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Strong people management and change leadership capabilities.
• Proficient with warehouse systems and data reporting.
• Customer-focused approach to operational management.
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct line management and coaching of Warehouse Operatives / Trainee Supervisors.
• Collaborate with Section Manager to monitor delivery to plan and improve key areas.
• Drive performance to ensure efficient operation meeting customer demand on time and in full.
• Maintain high safety standards by working with the Safety team on routines, inspections and audits.
• Review weekly labour plan to ensure adequate coverage and communicate issues to leadership.
• Provide detailed plans when targets aren’t met and outline remediation steps.
• Partner with stakeholders to align on strategic activity and delivery.
• Support culture change and turnover reduction initiatives.

Job Description

The Role:

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead and develop a team of Warehouse Operatives and Trainee Supervisors, driving performance, safety and operational excellence across your area. Working closely with the Warehouse Leadership team, you will ensure customer demand is fulfilled on time and in full while fostering a high-performance, high-support culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct line management and coaching of Warehouse Operatives / Trainee Supervisors including 1:1's to discuss performance vs expectation, identifying SMART goals when performance not met in any of the key functional areas within responsibility
• Working with the Section Manager for your department to monitor delivery to plan and key areas for your shift improve
• Driving performance on key metrics ensuring an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfill customer web and store demand on time and in full
• Driving the highest standards of safety on site, working with the Safety team to ensure adherence to all safety routines/procedures (e.g. Floor Safety Inspections, Hazard Spotting, Safety Gembas, Risk Assessments, Audits)
• Reviewing weekly labour plan to ensure cover is adequate, sharing with Section Manager, highlighting issues/feedback.
• Providing detail when daily/weekly targets are not met and creating plan to bridge
• Alongside the Warehouse Leadership team, you'll partner with other key stakeholders to ensure all strategic activity is on track and supported
• Supporting the successful implementation of culture change and turnover reduction

Qualifications

• Experience in Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain
