Loading bay Supervisor

Location: Cribbs Causeway, BS10
Pay: £14.78 per hour
Shifts: Monday–Friday, 00:00 – 09:00
Contract: Temporary until 16th of Decmeber

Gap Personnel acting as an employment business in Bristol is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor to join a busy parcel distribution centre in Cribbs Causeway, BS10. This role is ideal for someone with warehouse and team leadership experience who is looking to take on more responsibility during peak season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of warehouse operatives and parcel handlers to meet daily targets.

• Oversee the safe loading, unloading, scanning, and sorting of parcels.

• Monitor workflow and allocate tasks to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

• Train, support, and motivate team members, ensuring high standards of performance.

• Ensure all health & safety, manual handling, and company procedures are followed.

• Report and resolve any operational issues, parcel discrepancies, or damages.

• Maintain accurate records via handheld scanners and Warehouse Management System (WMS).

• Liaise with senior management regarding progress, issues, and staffing requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse/parcel handling environment (essential).

• Proven experience supervising or leading a team.

• Strong knowledge of WMS systems and handheld scanners.

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

• Reliable, proactive, and able to work under pressure.

• Able to provide two recent references.
