Job summary

Saab UK, part of Scandinavia's largest defence company, is hiring for a Stores Operative in Fareham. You will handle stock receipt, picking, packing, and shipping while maintaining accurate records and a safe working environment.

The role supports underwater robotics operations within Saab Seaeye, with opportunities for growth across UK sites and a strong focus on stock control and logistics processes.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or stores experience is desired.
• Experience working at height is required.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Forklift experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and materials.
• Process goods receipt documents and update records.
• Pick Work Orders and Sales Orders per MRP schedule.
• Pack and label stock for courier collections.
• Maintain safe, clean stores area and stock locations.
• Follow manual handling guidelines and use lifting equipment as needed.
• Keep yard organised, report stock discrepancies to supervisor.
• Assist with waste processing and KPI data entry.
• Undertake other duties as required by Head of Unit.
