Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Stores Operative in Fareham to manage goods inwards, stock locations and packing for courier collections as part of Saab Seaeye’s underwater robotics unit. You will receive stock, pick and pack orders, and ensure efficient stock control daily.

The role requires experience in warehousing, ability to work at height, and familiarity with ERP systems; forklift experience is desirable. A proactive, safety-conscious candidate will thrive in a busy, hands-on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or stores operations is desirable.
• Working at height is required for this role.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Forklift experience is desirable.

• Willing to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
• Pick work orders and sales orders in line with the MRP schedule.
• Pack and ship orders to customers.
• Organise and retrieve stock efficiently.
• Maintain stores equipment and vehicles and report malfunctions.
• Maintain high stock accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Ensure crates and packing materials are ordered to meet deadlines.
• Follow manual handling guidelines for stock movements.
