Job summary

AG Barr Group in Cumbernauld is seeking a Warehouse Shift Leader to join the leadership team. You will manage team leaders, support daily shift operations including wholesale and rework, and ensure safety and timely order fulfilment on a weekly early/back shift pattern.

The role emphasizes strong HACCP/H&S compliance, ISO-aligned procedures, and collaboration with site management to meet budgets and KPIs while maintaining high stock accuracy and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive warehouse leadership experience with hands-on management of WMS and inventory systems.
• Experience in budget preparation, cost control, variance reporting, and resource optimization.
• Strong knowledge of H&S regulations, COSHH, SSOW and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Manage Site Finances: Assist with budget preparation, track variances, and maintain charging processes.
• Maintain Quality Standards: Develop ISO-compliant procedures covering warehouse, transport, stock control, and QA operations.
• Optimise Inbound & Stock: Ensure full goods receipts from AG Barr and suppliers, perform stock counts, and maintain system accuracy.
• Drive Operational Efficiency: Use capacity models to balance staff, equipment and space against budgets and SLAs.
• Lead & Develop People: Oversee performance reviews, handle employee relations, and host team forums.
• Champion Health & Safety: Maintain SSOW, COSHH, and Risk Assessments; chair monthly H&S meetings.
• Ensure Business Continuity: Build disaster recovery and contingency plans to mitigate risk.
