Job summary

BSS Industrial is recruiting a Warehouse Manager for our Glasgow operation. You will oversee the day-to-day warehouse, transport and delivery activities, ensuring safety, accuracy and timely order dispatch.

You will lead the warehouse team, coordinate with the Sales Team and Drivers, and uphold compliance across stock, paperwork and safety protocols. You will head health and safety within the branch, drive process improvements, and mentor staff while remaining hands-on during busy periods to

Qualifications

Experience leading a warehouse team in a busy distribution environment.
Strong understanding of stock control, order processing and dispatch.
Proven ability to improve warehouse processes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Take overall responsibility for day-to-day warehouse and delivery operations, safely and efficiently.
Lead and develop the warehouse team with clear direction and accountability.
Coordinate workloads and logistics planning with the Warehouse Supervisor.
Ensure customer orders are picked, checked, dispatched on time.
Oversee stock control and storage of incoming goods.
Maintain transport compliance and branch administration records.
Promote health and safety within the branch and drive a positive safety culture.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency; lead by example.
