Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a fast-paced Distribution or Logistics environment.
• Proven success in effective people management, with a track record of motivating teams to achieve results.
• Experience in driving and surpassing operational KPIs with measurable improvements.
• Calm, focused approach to prioritising daily tasks, thriving under pressure while maintaining quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills grounded in practical decision-making.
• Proficient computer skills, comfortable with essential software and systems.
• Excellent communication to engage and inspire teams and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead with passion: manage and motivate your team to meet productivity targets and deadlines.
• Forecast and plan: assist in staffing forecasts, rota management and annual leave planning.
• Optimise operations: ensure labelling, sortation and warehouse productivity targets are achieved with quality.
• Ensure smooth handover: provide a comprehensive hand-over report to the incoming Shift Manager.
• Create a winning team culture: induct new staff and provide ongoing training to staff and contractors.
• Champion safety: ensure Health & Safety training is completed and a safe work environment is maintained.
