Job summary

InPost UK is seeking an AM Shift Manager to lead the Wednesbury Sort Centre operations and drive productivity in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will manage a dedicated team, meet deadlines, maintain quality standards and optimise processes to support our growing UK hub network.

The role requires hands-on people leadership, strong KPI focus, and the ability to plan and coordinate resources. Salary £36,396 per annum, 40 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday pattern.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in fast-paced distribution or logistics.
• Proven people management experience.
• Experience driving and surpassing KPIs.
• Strong task prioritisation and performing under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a warehouse team.
• Forecast staffing and rota planning.
• Ensure labelling, sortation and productivity targets.
• Provide hand-over reports to the next Shift Manager.
• Coach staff and contractors on induction, training and safety.
