Job summary

InPost UK is seeking a Nights Warehouse Shift Manager for our Lutterworth site. You will lead a dedicated night team, oversee daily warehouse operations and drive efficiency to meet deadlines and service levels.

Reporting to the shift Operations Manager, you will manage rotas, monitor KPIs, ensure safety, and deliver smooth handovers between shifts while collaborating with other departments to optimise throughput.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a fast-paced Warehouse, Distribution or Logistics environment.
• Proven track record in people management and team motivation.
• Ability to drive and surpass operational KPIs with calm prioritisation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and practical decision-making.
• Proficient with Outlook/Excel and warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a night team and ensure targets and deadlines are met.
• Forecast staffing needs, manage rotas and annual leave.
• Own warehouse processes, labeling, sortation, and productivity.
• Deliver clear handover reports to the incoming Shift Manager.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Uphold company policies and safety standards.
