Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Section Manager for our Stoke site. You will lead a team to deliver targets, maximise productivity, and drive continuous improvement while prioritising colleague wellbeing.

This is a full-time, permanent role with an ‘any 5 from 7’ day shift pattern (13:30–22:00). You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, foster a positive culture, and champion Health & Safety compliance.

• Proven track record in a similar level within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to lead, develop and manage a team; identify development opportunities.
• Excellent people skills to motivate and engage staff.

Responsibilities

• Take full day-to-day responsibility for warehouse operations in your area; lead, motivate and develop your team to hit targets.
• Pro-actively support site and customer continuous improvement initiatives; advocate cultural change on site.
• Promote a creative atmosphere where ideas and improvements are captured and actioned.
• Ensure all processes are compliant with health and safety policies and escalate risks as needed.

We are looking for a Warehouse Section Manager to join our M&S site in Stoke. You’ll lead your team to achieve business goals, maximising productivity and efficiency whilst focusing on continuous improvement and colleague wellbeing. This is a full time, permanent position, where you’ll be working an ‘any 5 from 7’ day shift pattern. The hours of work will be 13:30 – 22:00.

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £34,337.50 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Take full responsibility for the day to day running of the warehouse in your area, you’ll lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve targets
• Pro-actively support the site and customer’s continuous improvement initiatives, acting as an advocate on site for cultural change
• Promote a creative atmosphere where ideas and improvements can be harnessed
• With good understanding of Health & Safety you’ll strive to make sure all operational processes are fully compliant with our policies, while accurately identifying risks and escalating your findings
