Job summary

GXO Logistics in Thorncliffe is seeking a Warehouse Section Manager on a 12-month FTC to lead and develop a team, drive productivity and continuous improvement while ensuring colleague wellbeing. You'll take responsibility for day-to-day warehouse operations in your area, support customer improvements, and promote a safe, compliant working environment.

This role operates on a 14:00–22:00 shift pattern across a 5-from-7 schedule.

We are looking for a Warehouse Section Manager (12-month FTC) to join our M&S site in Thorncliffe. You'll lead your team to achieve business goals, maximising productivity and efficiency whilst focusing on continuous improvement and colleague wellbeing.

This is a full-time position, FTC for 12 months, where you'll be working an any 5 from 7' day shift pattern. The hours of work are, 14:00 - 22:00.

Pay, benefits and more:

• You’ll be paid a salary of £30,000 - £35,000.00 per annum, depending upon experience.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Take full responsibility for the day to day running of the warehouse in your area, you'll lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve targets
• Pro-actively support the site and customer's continuous improvement initiatives, acting as an advocate on site for cultural change
• Promote a creative atmosphere where ideas and improvements can be harnessed
• With good understanding of Health & Safety you'll strive to make sure all operational processes are fully compliant with our policies, while accurately identifying risks and escalating your findings
