Job summary

GXO is seeking a Warehouse Section Manager (12-month FTC) for our M&S site in Thorncliffe. You’ll lead and develop your team to hit targets, maximise productivity and drive continuous improvement while safeguarding wellbeing.

This full-time role operates on an any 5 from 7 pattern, 14:00–22:00, with a salary of £30,000–£35,000 p.a. along with 33 days leave, private healthcare, pension and more.

We are looking for a Warehouse Section Manager (12-month FTC) to join our M&S site in Thorncliffe. You’ll lead your team to achieve business goals, maximising productivity and efficiency whilst focusing on continuous improvement and colleague wellbeing .

This is a full-time position, FTC for 12 months, where you’ll be working an ‘any 5 from 7’ day shift pattern. The hours of work are, 14:00 – 22:00.

You’ll be paid a salary of £30,000 - £35,000.00 per annum, depending upon experience. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Take full responsibility for the day to day running of the warehouse in your area, you’ll lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve targets
• Pro-actively support the site and customer’s continuous improvement initiatives, acting as an advocate on site for cultural change
• Promote a creative atmosphere where ideas and improvements can be harnessed
• With good understanding of Health & Safety you’ll strive to make sure all operational processes are fully compliant with our policies, while accurately identifying risks and escalating your findings
