Job summary

Elix sourcing solutions is partnering with a manufacturing company in Rugby to recruit a dependable Warehouse Operative on a 3-month temporary contract. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with an annualised pro rata salary of £27,000 plus overtime.

You will manage goods in, organise stock, perform stock checks and help keep the warehouse clean and efficient. Forklift licence is preferred but not essential, and immediate start is available.

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment.
• Strong attention to detail when handling and recording stock.
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage goods-in process, accurately recording all deliveries on internal systems
• Ensure all deliveries are correctly labelled, stored, and processed
• Organise and store stock in designated locations
• Prepare shipments for international dispatch
• Ensure all items are securely packaged and protected prior to shipping
• Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently (where licensed)
• Carry out regular stock checks and inventory control
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse environment

Warehouse Operative (3-Month Temp Contract)

We have an excellent opportunity for a dependable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company in Rugby on a 3-month temp contract, with the possibility to extend.

Within the role you will manage goods in, organising stocks are stores, carrying out stock checks and make sure the warehouse is clean, tidy and operational.

This role is ideal for someone with previous warehouse experience who is looking for an immediate start with a reliable and well established manufacturing company. You will complete a 13-week temporary contract, with the opportunity to review and potentially extend if required.

Key Responsibilities:
