Job summary

Owen Daniels is recruiting a temporary Warehouse Operator for a leading manufacturer in Leicestershire, Oakham. The role focuses on efficient movement, storage and preparation of materials to meet production and customer requirements.

You will receive, inspect, store, pick and pack deliveries, and operate forklifts and other handling equipment. The contract runs for an initial 3 months with Mon-Thu 08:00-16:45 and Fri 12:30 finish; a physically active, detail-oriented team player is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Forklift license (counterbalance).
• Physically fit to lift, move and handle materials.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming deliveries in line with procedures.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for internal production and external shipment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate records through stock checks and inventory system updates.
• Support regular cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Ensure warehouse areas remain clean, organized and compliant with health and safety standards.

About the Role
