Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Stores Operative to support our underwater robotics and defence supply chain in Fareham. You will manage goods inwards, stock locations, and packing for courier collections, while ensuring accuracy and safety across the stores area.

The role demands previous warehouse experience, ability to work at height, and a proactive approach to learning. Experience with ERP systems and forklifts is advantageous, with a focus on efficient stock control and timely order fulfilment.

Qualifications

• Previous Warehouse or Stores experience desired.
• Previous experience of working at height is required due to nature of this role.
• Experience with forklifts desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process goods inwards and stock receipts.
• Label, pack and store stock with correct location and rotation.
• Pick work orders and sales orders from picking lists.
• Assist with loading/unloading and general store duties.
• Maintain yard, COSHH cabinet and oil store; report issues.
• Prepare crates/packing materials and ensure timely courier packing.
