Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Stores Operative to join our Fareham site within Saab Seaeye’s underwater robotics division. You will receive goods, process stock, pick and pack orders, and ensure accurate stock locations are maintained.

The role requires working at height, adherence to safety guidelines, and proactive involvement in yard housekeeping. training will cover ERP usage, stock control, and order processing to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or stores experience.
• Experience of working at height.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with forklifts desirable.
• Enthusiastic and hardworking.
• Willing to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and materials.
• Process goods inwards in line with MRP and scan documentation.
• Locate stock to correct locations with proper stock rotation.
• Label, pack, and ensure products are identifiable and free from contamination/damage.
• Pick work orders and sales orders using picking lists with high accuracy.
• Assist with loading/unloading, sorting, cleaning, and stock movements.
• Follow manual handling guidelines and use lifting equipment where needed.
• Keep yard clean and safe, manage COSHH cabinet and oil store.
• Support waste collection processes and respond to hatch enquiries urgently.
• Ensure daily KPI data and product location updates are accurate.
