Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Stores Operative to join our Fareham Introduction site. You will receive goods, process stock, pick orders, and ensure accurate labelling and packing for courier collections. You will maintain stock locations, rotation, and a safe, clean stores area while following manual handling guidelines.

The role supports Saab Seaeye operations in underwater robotics. Experience with ERP systems and forklift operations is desirable, and a proactive, hardworking attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or stores operations is required or desirable.
• Must be able to work at height as part of the role.
• Experience with ERP systems is expected or desirable.
• Forklift experience is a plus for the role.
• Candidate should be enthusiastic, hardworking and a quick learner.
• Willing to learn quickly and adapt to processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process goods inwards and stock when received.
• Pick Work Orders and Sales Orders according to picking lists.
• Pack, label and prepare stock for courier collection.
• Maintain stock locations and apply stock rotation.
• Follow manual handling guidelines and use lifting equipment when needed.
• Assist with waste processing and keep yard and stores area clean.
• Record daily KPI data and update product locations as required.
