Job summary

THX Ltd in Barford, UK is hiring a Warehouse Operative to support stock control, order picking, loading and unloading, and rebranding of equipment.

You will maintain tidy, safe work areas, support multiple teams, and help keep records in the THX system. The role suits someone with warehouse experience, good communication, and a proactive, detail‑oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Re-stocking hire equipment in the Warehouse and yard, ensuring they are done so safely and in the correct area within the yard for efficiency
• Picking hire equipment ready for loading
• Loading and unloading hire equipment
• In-fleeting of new equipment, adding THX branding and fleet numbers, recording these correctly and setting them up in the THX system to enable pat-testing and in-house calibration
• Ensuring all areas of the warehouse is kept clean and tidy and maintain an organised working environment
• Clean hire equipment, including pressure washing
• Rebranding new equipment with relevant THX stickers
• Ensuring accurate records are kept using the computer-based system
• Provide support to Warehouse, Workshop and Transport teams as and when required

Key responsibilities

Person specification

• Previous hands-on experience of cleaning, organising and tidying in a busy warehouse role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail whilst going repetitive tasks
• A proactive and can-do attitude towards to tasks
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to work quickly and methodically
• Supportive, motivated and reliable team-player
• Safety-first mindset
