Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Operative in the United Kingdom. Work is on a full-time, permanent basis with an ‘any 5 days from 7’ pattern in two shifts: 07:00–15:00 or 15:00–23:00.

You will receive an hourly rate of £13.56 with a 6% shift premium for PM shifts, plus 28 days leave and pension benefits. You’ll join a team focused on accuracy, safety and efficient operations, using RF scanners and warehouse systems to handle goods and paperwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment with MHE operating experience is desirable.
• Current licence to operate MHE is advantageous.
• Good communication and timekeeping are essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload deliveries, check stock for accuracy and damage.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders using RF scanners, meet productivity targets.
• Replenish stock locations and store products safely.
• Load outbound goods and complete transport paperwork.
• Maintain a safety-minded approach and proper manual handling.
• Operate RF scanners and warehouse systems accurately to meet targets.
• Remain reliable, positive, and a strong team member with good timekeeping.

• Receive and unload incoming deliveries, checking stock for accuracy and damage before booking goods into the warehouse system
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders using RF scanners, ensuring accuracy and meeting productivity targets
• Replenish stock locations and safely store products throughout the warehouse to keep operations running smoothly
• Load outbound vehicles accurately and on time, ensuring stock is correctly secured and all transport paperwork is completed
• A safety-conscious mindset, with a good understanding of manual handling procedures and safe working practices
• The ability to work accurately and efficiently using RF scanners and warehouse systems, whilst meeting productivity targets
• A reliable and positive approach, with strong communication skills, good timekeeping and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an 'any 5 days from 7' pattern, covering the hours of 07:00 to 15:00 (fixed AM shift) or 15:00 to 23:00 (fixed PM shift)
