Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring Warehouse Operatives in West Hallam, DE7 6HE, United Kingdom. This full-time, permanent role covers shifts across 5 days out of 7 between 05:30 and 22:00, with 7.5-hour daily shifts and weekly pay.

You will load and unload goods, operate MHE if trained, and strive for KPI targets while maintaining safety and accuracy. We welcome candidates with warehouse experience, familiarity with WMS, and valid counterbalance or reach truck licences.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferable.
• Experience with WMS systems.
• Counterbalance and reach truck licences are required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good attention to detail and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely load vehicles with products for delivery on specified routes, check and confirm loads for completeness and accuracy, report any discrepancies, and offload incoming products into the appropriate warehouse storage area
• Operate mechanical lifting equipment if appropriately trained
• Meet the standards of performance, behaviour, and attendance in line with company policies and procedures, while effectively undertaking all aspects of warehouse operations to a high standard and working independently to achieve KPI targets
• Assist management with investigations into accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences, while promptly reporting any breaches of the company's Health and Safety procedures
• Be able to work well with others and enjoy fast-paced warehouse environments

Location & Working Hours

Here at GXO, we are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our team in West Hallam, DE7 6HE. This is a full-time, permanent position, working any 5 days out of 7 between 05:30 and 22:00. Shifts are 7.5 hours per day.

Pay and Benefits

• An hourly rate of £12.71, paid weekly
