Job summary

GXO Logistics in Leyland is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a fast-paced team. The role involves picking customer orders in a chilled environment, operating manual handling equipment, and using the warehouse management system with voice-picking technology.

No prior experience is required as training is provided. The position runs 5 days out of 7 with a 14:00–22:00 shift, offering an hourly rate of £12.90 and inclusive benefits. This is a permanent role in a growing logistics operation.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Our Warehouse Operatives work in a chilled environment and support in the picking of customer orders
• You’ll operate manual handling equipment in a safe manner
• You will utilise the warehouse management system and pick by voice' equipment
• Ensure that all health & safety practices are followed in line with company policies
