Job summary

GXO Logistics, Leyland, is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Leyland on a permanent basis. The role covers 06:00 - 14:00, 5 days out of 7, in a chilled environment, handling picking of customer orders and using the 'pick by voice' system. Training is provided, with opportunities to develop through GXO University.

We offer an hourly rate of £12.90 plus benefits including a subsidised gym, staff shop and canteen, holiday pay, pension, and access to health and wellbeing services.

• No experience required, training will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills needed.
• Flexibility in approach for peak seasons.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Our Warehouse Operatives work in a chilled environment and support in the picking of customer orders
• You’ll operate manual handling equipment in a safe manner
• You will utilise the warehouse management system and 'pick by voice' equipment
• Ensure that all health & safety practices are followed in line with company policies

What you need to succeed at GXO:
