Job summary

GXO Logistics in Leyland is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a fast-paced team. This permanent role requires working any 5 days out of 7, with standard hours from 06:00 to 14:00.

You will operate a warehouse management system, pick by voice, and assist in the packing and dispatch of customer orders while maintaining safety and efficiency. Training is provided for all responsibilities.

Qualifications

• No experience required; we’re happy to train you.

Responsibilities

• Support in picking customer orders in a chilled environment.
• Operate manual handling equipment safely.
• Utilise the warehouse management system and a voice-picking interface.
• Follow health and safety practices in line with company policies.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Our Warehouse Operatives work in a chilled environment and support in the picking of customer orders
• You’ll operate manual handling equipment in a safe manner
• You will utilise the warehouse management system and ‘pick by voice’ equipment
• Ensure that all health & safety practices are followed in line with company policies
