A leading workforce solutions provider is seeking Warehouse Operatives to support a busy distribution center in Barnsley. Overview

Staffline is hiring Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution centre in Barnsley, supporting one of the UK's most well-known high street food retailers.

This is a full-time role, working 5 days out of 7 and the hours of work are:

• 4am/6am to 2pm
• 2pm to 12am (midnight)

Due to the shift end times, you will need your own transport for this role.

Responsibilities

• Picking food products in a chilled environment using pick headsets
• Breaking down pallets of food ready for processing
• Allocating products for storage and dispatch

What You Get

• Overtime rates are paid after 40 hours.
• Attendance Bonus during the peak period £2.50 per hour if you attend all shifts booked.
• Performance Bonus during the peak period £2.50 per hour if pick performance rate is min 130 cases
• Potential extra Attendance £125 bonus paid in January!
• Potential extra performance £100 bonus paid in January!

Salary and Shifts

First 24 Weeks:

• Weekday Day shift (6am - 6pm) £12.73 per hour
• Weekday Night shift (6pm - 6am) £15.92 per hour
• Weekend Day shift (6am - 6pm) £13.16 per hour
• Weekend Night shift (6pm - 6am) £17.19 per hour

After 25 Weeks:

• Weekday Day shift (6am - 6pm) £12.96 per hour
• Weekday Night shift (6pm - 6am) £16.20 per hour
• Weekend Day shift (6am - 6pm) £15.55 per hour
• Weekend Night shift (6pm - 6am) £17.49 per hour

Attendance Bonus during the peak period £2.50 per hour if you attend all shifts booked.

Our Perfect Worker will have excellent timekeeping and attendance. You will have the ability to work under pressure and achieve performance targets. Applicants will have good Maths and English skills. Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training is provided.
