Job summary

GXO Screwfix in Runcorn is hiring part-time Warehouse Operatives to join our fast-paced team. You will assist inbound, outbound and stock control tasks, pick and pack orders, and support daily warehouse operations with accuracy and care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet KPIs.

Here at GXO Screwfix, we are looking forWarehouse Operativesto join us at our site in Runcorn. From picking and packing to dispatching orders, you will be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations.

Multiple part time shifts are available , working either: friday & sunday 22:00-06:00 or Monday to Friday 10:00-14:00/14:00-18:00 or 18:00-22:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Support the day-to-day warehouse operation by carrying out inbound, outbound and stock control activities
• Pick and pack products accurately for retail delivery orders, handling stock with care and a high level of attention to detail
• Work efficiently and flexibly to meet operational KPIs and targets, both independently and as part of a wider team
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment by following all Safe Systems of Work, Standard Operating Procedures and hygiene requirements

What you’ll need to succeed at GXO:

• Any experience within a warehouse setting is advantageous but NOT essential
• Worked independently and as part of a team to achieve KPI’s and targets effectively
• To understand the importance of delivering excellent customer service
• Worked in a fast-paced environment where a high-volume workload must be achieved
• Can show initiative and provide solutions to their team to work more effectively
