Job summary

GXO Screwfix in Runcorn is seeking Warehouse Operatives to join a fast-paced logistics site. The role covers picking, packing and dispatching with two-week rotating shift patterns: Week 1 06:00-14:00; Week 2 14:00-22:00, Monday to Friday. Nights available Sun–Thu 22:00–06:00.

The position is full-time and permanent with a salary of £26,812.50 plus benefits including discounts, holidays and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Any experience within a warehouse setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet KPIs.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high workload.
• Able to show initiative and propose solutions to the team.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day warehouse operation by carrying out inbound, outbound and stock control activities.
• Pick and pack products accurately for retail delivery orders, handling stock with care and a high level of attention to detail.
• Work efficiently and flexibly to meet operational KPIs and targets, both independently and as part of a wider team.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment by following all Safe Systems of Work, Standard Operating Procedures and hygiene requirements.

Here at GXO Screwfix, we are looking forWarehouse Operativesto join us at our site in Runcorn. From picking and packing to dispatching orders, you will be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations.

You will be working on afull time, permanentbasis, following a two-week rotating shift pattern. Week 1 - 06:00 to 14:00 / Week 2 – 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday . We also offer nights positions covering Sunday – Thursday 22:00-06:00
