Job summary

Church & Dwight UK is seeking a proactive Warehouse Operator and HGV Driver to support our busy warehousing and transport functions in Folkestone. You thrive in a hands-on role and take pride in getting things right first time.

Based on a 4 days on, 4 days off rota with 12-hour shifts (start times between 7am and 8am), you will work closely with Logistics and Production to ensure fast trailer turnarounds and stock integrity.

Qualifications

• Valid and clean Class 1 HGV licence.
• Up-to-date CPC card.
• Numerate, literate, and comfortable using English.
• Previous warehouse experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting goods between sites as a Class 1 HGV driver.
• Working closely with Logistics and Production to ensure fast trailer turnarounds.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring all equipment remains in legal, safe condition.
• Loading and unloading vehicles and dispatching components to Production with accuracy and care.
• Maintaining stock integrity through correct rotation, handling, sampling and cycle counting.
• Managing goods-in documentation and resolving discrepancies.
• Using SAP to confirm, pick and manage Transfer Orders.
• Keeping warehouse records up to date and supporting stock consolidation.
• Using MHE to operate Counterbalance, VNA and pallet trucks (when trained).
• Deputising for senior operatives when required.
• Contributing to team and personal KPIs.

Education & Experience

Essential:

• Valid and clean Class 1 HGV licence
• Up-to-date CPC card
• Numerate, literate, and comfortable using English
• Previous warehouse experience would be an advantage

Desirable (but training available):

• ADR certificate
• MHE licences (Counterbalance, VNA)
