Job summary

Church & Dwight is seeking a proactive Warehouse Operator and HGV Driver for our Folkestone site. You will transport goods as a Class 1 driver, support logistics with production, and contribute to accurate stock and records. A CPC card and a clean Class 1 HGV licence are essential.

The role involves 12-hour shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off, with shifts starting between 7am and 8am. Training for ADR and MHE licenses is available.

Qualifications

• Essential: Valid Class 1 HGV licence.
• Essential: CPC card.
• Essential: Proficient in English.
• Desirable: ADR certificate (training available).
• Desirable: MHE licences (Counterbalance, VNA).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport goods between sites as a Class 1 HGV driver.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Production for fast trailer turnarounds.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and keep equipment in safe condition.
• Load/unload vehicles and dispatch components to Production accurately.
• Maintain stock integrity through rotation and cycle counting.
• Manage goods-in documentation and resolve discrepancies.
• Use SAP to confirm, pick and manage Transfer Orders.
• Keep warehouse records up to date and support stock consolidation.
• Operate MHE (training provided) including Counterbalance and VNA.
• Deputise for senior operatives when required.
• Contribute to team and personal KPIs.

What You'll Do

• Safely transporting goods between sites as a Class 1 HGV driver
• Working closely with Logistics and Production to ensure fast trailer turnarounds
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring all equipment remains in legal, safe condition
• Loading and unloading vehicles and dispatching components to Production with accuracy and care
• Maintaining stock integrity through correct rotation, handling, sampling and cycle counting
• Managing goods‑in documentation and resolving discrepancies
• Using SAP to confirm, pick and manage Transfer Orders
• Keeping warehouse records up to date and supporting stock consolidation
• Using MHE (once trained) including Counterbalance, VNA and pallet trucks
• Deputising for senior operatives when required
• Contributing to team and personal KPIs

Education & Experience

• Essential: Valid and clean Class 1 HGV licence
• Essential: Up‑to‑date CPC card
• Essential: Numerate, literate, and comfortable using English
• Essential: Previous warehouse experience would be an advantage
• Desirable (but training available): ADR certificate
• Desirable (but training available): MHE licences (Counterbalance, VNA)
