Job summary

IKEA Gateshead is recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join our busy store. You will handle stock manually, receive and replenish goods, and pick/pack customer orders with precision, while operating forklift-related equipment when required.

You will follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment and contribute to accurate stock levels and efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and accurate in handling stock and records.
• Able to prioritise workload and stay organised in a busy warehouse.
• Experience using equipment to boost productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manually handle all products from LACK to PAX ranges.
• Receive, replenish and pick/pack customer orders with accuracy.
• Operate or work around forklifts or pump trucks safely.
• Maintain accurate stock records and stock levels.
• Follow safety protocols for self and customers/co-workers.
