Job summary

Randstad Delivery is seeking a Warehouse Operative for the Swadlincote site at DS Smith Packaging Mercia, Mercia Park Unit 4. You will unload/load with counterbalance or reach truck and support putaway, replenishment and picking tasks.

The role requires previous warehouse experience and solid communication. Shifts are Mon-Fri with alternating start times (6am–2:30pm or 11:30am–8pm), starting ASAP. Competitive hourly rate and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Experienced with counterbalance and/or reach truck equipment.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Comfortable being on foot for long periods.
• Able to conduct manual handling.

Role: Warehouse operative

Location: DS Smith Packaging Mercia, Mercia Park Unit 4, Swadlincote DE12 8AA, United Kingdom

Rate: £14.34 Per hour basic

Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday(Alternate shift)

AM shift 6am to 2:30pm and PM shift 11:30am to 8pm

Start: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Unloading/ loading using counterbalance
• Putaway/ replenishment/ picking using reach truck
• Picking into cages
• Working in line with Health and Safety guidance and processes at all times
• Achieving high quality standards on all work produced
• Adhering to customer demands in a timely manner
• Completing any other duties relevant to the department as requested by the shift manager

Essential requirements

• Experienced counterbalance and/or reach truck driver
• Previous warehouse experience
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Comfortable being on foot for long periods of time
• Able to conduct manual handling
