Randstad Technologies Recruitment is seeking a Machine Operative for DS Smith in Burton Latimer, near Kettering. The role involves production machinery operation and warehouse movement, with a double day shift and 40 hours per week.

The position offers a temporary arrangement with competitive rates (£16.77 per hour, overtime £21.60–£24.74 per hour). Applicants should have warehouse experience and be punctual and reliable.

Are you an experienced Machine Operative? Are you based in or around Kettering?

We have an initially temporary role available within the DS Smith site. This role is ideal for someone with previous Warehouse experience, an FLT Counterbalance licence, reach truck experience and considers themselves to be punctual, reliable as well as proactive.

£16.77ph, Overtime also available: £21.60-£24.74ph

Role & Responsibilities

• Must have worked in production on machinery
• FLT experience but not essential
• Must drive due to where the site is located
• Ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a warehouse operative, including FLT operation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Physical stamina for warehouse work.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
