Job summary

AMFRESH Group in Peterborough is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on a permanent, weekly-paid contract with consistent hours and long-term growth opportunities. The shift is 4 on, 4 off from 05:45 to 18:15, and the role offers an hourly rate of £13.40 (paid weekly).

You will pick, scan and label orders, ensure pallets are correctly labeled and located, move pallets safely, and lift up to 15 kg while following manual handling procedures.

• Independent worker capable of meeting hourly targets.
• Experience with MHE or licence/training provided.
• Good communication and attention to detail.

About The Role

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative at our Peterborough site. This is a permanent, weekly-paid position providing consistent work, reliable hours, and long-term growth opportunities within a thriving business.

Shift Pattern: 4on, 4off - 05:45 to 18:15

Hourly Rate: £13.40 (Paid Weekly)

As an AMFresh Warehouse Operative, you will:

• Pick, scan, and label all customer orders against the order sheet provided to you.
• Ensure stock products have a label with the correct amount on the pallet and ensure pallets are placed in the correct location.
• Ensure all pallets are moved in and out of the warehouse or elsewhere on site, stacked and strapped safely.
• Lift weights of up to 15kg several times during your shift and follow the correct manual handling procedures.

About You

• To be a successful Warehouse Operative, the qualities we are looking for are:
• Ability to work independently and meet hourly targets.
• Previous experience of any MHE, whether inhouse or licence (full training will be provided).
• Good all-round communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail.
