Job summary

AMFRESH is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader at our Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). The role is permanent and weekly-paid, with 4on 4off shifts from 06:30 to 19:00, offering reliable hours and long-term career opportunities.

You'll lead a small team in fresh produce operations, ensuring food safety, quality, and KPI delivery while coordinating transport, stock control and warehouse tasks to keep the site running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous team leader/supervisory experience in fresh produce, food production, or FMCG.
• Experience working in KPI-driven environments and meeting targets.
• Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently, under pressure, and deliver excellent customer service.

• Maintain efficient warehouse operations with management.
• Manage staffing, performance, and absence cover.
• Ensure compliant storage of products and equipment.

• Maintain accurate stock labelling and scanning.
• Oversee loading, unloading, picking, and dispatch processes.

About The Role

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader at our Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). This is a permanent, weekly-paid position, providing consistent work, reliable hours, and long-term growth opportunities within a thriving business.

• Shift Pattern: 4on, 4off - 06:30 to 19:00


• Hourly Rate: £15.80 (paid weekly)

As an AMFRESH Warehouse Team Leader, you will:

• Follow food safety, quality, and compliance standards.


• Ensure products meet legal and customer requirements.


• Allocate and complete daily warehouse tasks.


• Maintain efficient warehouse operations with management.


• Manage staffing, performance, and absence cover.


• Ensure compliant storage of products and equipment.


• Complete management requests promptly.


• Coordinate transport activities.


• Ensure MHE inspections, maintenance, and safe use.
