Job summary

Based at AMFRESH Group's Peterborough site, theQuality Controller role is a permanent, weekly-paid position in our packhouse department. It offers consistent hours with a 4on, 4off pattern from 06:00 to 18:00 and a pay rate of £13.70 per hour, paid weekly.

You will inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure quality and integrity, generate reports, and support monthly KPIs on compliance and productivity. Prior QA experience, especially in fruit, is beneficial.

• Strong attention to details.
• Ability to work independently and carry out tasks in a timely manner.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Experience in a quality assurance role is beneficial (fruit industry experience is an advantage).

About The Role

We are recruiting for a Quality Controller at our Peterborough site. We are recruiting for a permanent weekly paid positionin our packhousedepartment; providing consistent work, reliable hours, and long-term growth opportunities within a thriving business.

• Shift Pattern: 4on, 4off - 06:00 to 18:00


• Hourly Rate: £13.70 (paid weekly)

Life as an AMFRESH Quality Controller, you will:

• Inspect and record all raw materials and finish product arrivals, ensuring they meet quality and integrity standards agreed with customers.


• Meet monthly KPI’s on compliance, accuracy and productivity.


• Supply Quality Inspection Reports on all incoming raw materials to our Procurement teams.


• Complete regular reports via paper and on the tablet.

About You

To be a successful Quality Controller, the qualities we are looking for are:

• Strong attention to details


• Ability to work independently and carry out tasks in a timely manner


• Proficiency in both Excel and Word


• Previous experience in a quality assurance role is beneficial (experience within fruit industry would be an advantage)
