GXO Logistics, in partnership with Waitrose, is hiring a Warehouse Operative in Leyland. This permanent role requires availability to work any 5 days out of 7, with early shifts from 06:00 to 14:00.

You will join a team delivering high standards in a busy distribution environment. No previous experience is required as training is provided; you will learn picking orders in a chilled environment, operate manual handling equipment, and use the warehouse management system and pick-by-voice

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including peak seasons.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Our Warehouse Operatives work in a chilled environment and support in the picking of customer orders
• You’ll operate manual handling equipment in a safe manner
• You will utilise the warehouse management system and ‘pick by voice’ equipment
• Ensure that all health & safety practices are followed in line with company policies
