Job summary

GXO Harlow is seeking Warehouse Operatives for a full-time, permanent role. Based in Harlow, the position offers a 40-hour week on a Monday–Friday pattern with early 07:30–15:30 shifts and potential future PM shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Reach Truck and PPT experience highly desirable, or willingness to complete MHE training.
• Good attention to detail and communication skills, able to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible, safety-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick, process and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Safely load and unload containers, vehicles and trailers, and complete goods-in/out activities.
• Process customer returns and handle stock and inventory per warehouse procedures.
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and follow operational/quality standards.
• Support wider warehouse team and maintain a safe, tidy working environment.

You will be working on a shift pattern of, 5 days out of 7, currently Monday to Friday between the hours of07:30 - 15:30 working40 hoursper week.

Due to business growth and operational requirements, working hours may be subject to change, including a transition to PM shift patterns in the future. Flexibility is essential.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Pick, process and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently, meeting daily productivity and service targets
• Safely load and unload containers, vehicles and trailers, and complete goods-in and goods-out activities
• Process customer returns and carry out stock handling and inventory tasks in line with warehouse procedures
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) where required and follow all operational and quality standards
• Work as part of the wider warehouse team, supporting general duties, maintaining a safe and tidy working environment, and helping to meet business needs

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Previous Reach Truck and PPT experience is highly desirable, or you'll be willing to complete full MHE training and become certified
• Good attention to detail and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A flexible, safety-focused approach, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
