Job summary

GXO Logistics in Leyland (near Chorley) is looking for a Warehouse Operative on a permanent basis. The role runs 06:00–14:00, five days out of seven, in a chilled environment, with duties including picking customer orders using voice-picking and the warehouse system.

No experience is required as we provide full training, and there are peak season flexibility expectations. Benefits include gym access, subsidised staff shop and canteen, pension and life assurance.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Our Warehouse Operatives work in a chilled environment and support in the picking of customer orders
• You’ll operate manual handling equipment in a safe manner
• You will utilise the warehouse management system and ‘pick by voice’ equipment
• Ensure that all health & safety practices are followed in line with company policies
