GXO Logistics, Inc. is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for our Sainsbury’s operation in Sherburn in Elmet. The role covers ambient, chill, produce and freezer areas and requires you to work across all warehouse departments.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a 13:00–21:00 shift, 5 days out of 7. You will be paid £14.05 per hour with a £2.65 uplift after 18:00, plus a £25 weekly freezer allowance, plus holiday pay and pension, and access to GXO University.

• Experience in a warehouse environment is desirable.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments.

From receiving and storing products to picking, packing, and dispatching orders, you could be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations.This role is based in the ambient, chill, produce and freezer chambers, and will require you to work across all departments.

This is afull-time, permanent position, working5 days out of 7, covering the hours13:00–21:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Picking and packing orders from a wide range of products using voice picking system
• Get involved in other warehouse-related duties that may arise during your shift
• Comply with all health and safety regulations within the warehouse
• Operate MHE equipment where required – full training provided!

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Willingness to work in amulti-temperature environment
• Previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous
• Flexibility and a ‘can do’, right first time and passionate approach
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting, pulling, and pushing
