Job summary

Culina is the UK’s leading independent specialist supply chain partner, with 22,000 colleagues nationwide. We have an exciting opportunity in our Chilled & Fresh division for a Tuesday–Saturday night shift, 18:00–04:00.

You will load/unload, document inbound and dispatch loads, and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards. In this role you’ll work in a chilled environment, focus on meeting deadlines and quality targets, and help keep goods flowing efficiently.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a chilled/cold environment.
• Experience in deadline-critical roles with quality focus.
• Good verbal and numerical reasoning abilities.
• Conscientious, reliable, and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload product in line with company procedures.
• Complete inbound and dispatch documentation accurately.
• Report trailer or MHE faults per procedures and position VOR correctly.
• Ensure goods are picked/assembled accurately as instructed.
• Secure dispatched loads before leaving the loading bay.
• Work to meet productivity targets while maintaining safety.
• Follow Health & Safety, SSOWs and HACCP policies.
• Receive and notify returns to the Stock Controller.

Job Description

• Shift is a Tuesday – Saturday, Nightshift PPT 18.00hrs to 04.00hrs
• To ensure you load/unload product strictly in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
• To ensure the correct documentation is completed for all inbound and dispatch loads.
• Reporting any trailer or MHE faults in line with Company procedures and ensuring VOR vehicles are placed in the designated areas.
• To remain vigilant in ensuring goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
• To ensure dispatched loads are properly secured prior to leaving the loading bay.
• To reach and maintain the standards required to meet the Company's productivity targets.
• Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the Company’s Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, where appropriate, and to challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
• Ensure customer returns are received, recorded and notified to the appropriate Stock Controller

Qualifications

• Ability to work within a chilled/cold environment
• Experience of working within an environment where achieving deadlines and quality of work are critical
• Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning
• Conscientious and reliable nature
• Positivate 'can do' attitude
