Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Lutterworth, UK, is hiring a Warehouse Operative to support our fulfilment operation. You will pick, pack and sort orders in a fast-paced environment with loading/unloading duties and strict documentation.

Reach Truck or Counterbalance experience is desirable; prior warehouse experience is preferred. Shift pattern is Sunday–Thursday, 3pm–12am, with a base pay plus a shift premium and allowances.

Qualifications

• Reach Truck or Counterbalance experience is desirable.
• Flexible, friendly approach with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent organisational skills with speed and accuracy.
• Previous warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and sort orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Handle loading/unloading and manual handling tasks.
• Maintain general housekeeping of the warehouse.
• Use of manual handling equipment as instructed by management.
• Ensure all administration documentation is completed accurately.
• Process returns with correct documentation.

Play a key role at the centre of our fulfilment operation. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Picking, packing and sorting orders in a fast-paced environment
• Getting hands-on with manual tasks, from handling to loading and unloading
• General housekeeping of the warehouse
• Use of manual handling equipment to complete activities / tasks as prescribded by line management
• Ensure all administration documentation is completed accurately to the required standards
• Ensure all returns are accompanied with the correct documentation and that they are processed accordingly
