Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Lutterworth to play a key role at the centre of our fulfilment operation.

Typical day includes picking, packing, sorting orders and handling tasks with loading/unloading. Experience in warehousing is preferred; reach truck or counterbalance is desirable. We offer a pension with 8% employer contribution and extra benefits.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and sorting orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Handling to loading and unloading with manual tasks.
• General housekeeping of the warehouse.
• Use of manual handling equipment as prescribed by line management.
• Ensure all administration documentation is completed accurately to the required standards.
• Ensure all returns are accompanied with the correct documentation and processed accordingly.

Pay Rate: £28,185.58 + 8% Shift Premium, additional MHE Allowance for Reach Truck OR Counterbalance, Additional £75 Per Month
Grade: RCS P
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Sunday to Thursday, 3pm to 12am
Location: Lutterworth

Play a key role at the centre of our fulfilment operation.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Picking, packing and sorting orders in a fast-paced environment
• Getting hands-on with manual tasks, from handling to loading and unloading
• General housekeeping of the warehouse
• Use of manual handling equipment to complete activities / tasks as prescribded by line management
• Ensure all administration documentation is completed accurately to the required standards
• Ensure all returns are accompanied with the correct documentation and that they are processed accordingly

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Reach Truck OR Counterbalance is desirable
• Have a flexible, friendly approach with a can-do attitude
• Have excellent organisational skills along with speed and accuracy
• Previous warehouse experience
