Job summary

DHL is seeking a warehouse operative to join our fulfilment operation in the United Kingdom. You will pick, pack and sort orders in a fast-paced environment, handle loading/unloading, and keep a clean, safe workspace.

You will complete administration documents accurately and ensure returns are documented correctly. Experience in warehousing is preferred, with Reach Truck/Counterbalance experience being desirable.

Qualifications

• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Good organisational skills with speed and accuracy.
• Comfort with manual handling tasks and general housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and sort orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Handle and load/unload goods as required.
• Maintain clean, safe and orderly work area.
• Complete administration documentation accurately to required standards.
• Ensure returns are accompanied with correct paperwork and processed accordingly.
• Reach Truck or Counterbalance is desirable.

Job description

Play a key role at the centre of our fulfilment operation. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Picking, packing and sorting orders in a fast-paced environment
• Getting hands-on with manual tasks, from handling to loading and unloading
• General housekeeping of the warehouse
• Use of manual handling equipment to complete activities / tasks as prescribded by line management
• Ensure all administration documentation is completed accurately to the required standards
• Ensure all returns are accompanied with the correct documentation and that they are processed accordingly
  Reach Truck OR Counterbalance is desirable
• Have a flexible, friendly approach with a can-do attitude
• Have excellent organisational skills along with speed and accuracy
• Previous warehouse experience
